Welcome to Papillion Perennials! We are a locally owned and operated garden center that just opened April 2016. Our years of experience growing perennials allow us to provide you with the highest quality product and service. Owner Cathy Pauley has close to 30 years experience growing Perennials. At Papillon we are growing most of our own perennials and are proud to say that everything we carry is sourced locally.

Cathy spent thirteen years managing the greenhouses at Missouri Botanical Garden after graduating from Webster University with a B.S. in biology and minor in ecology. She has spent her career studying, growing and maintaining perennials in the St. Louis area, and knows what works in our challenging climate here.

At Papillon we have a heavy emphasis in Native perennials, trees and shrubs. For 2018 Papillon will carry over 250 varieties of native Missouri plants. We also carry a full line of ornamental perennials, trees and shrubs. We round things out with annuals, vegetables, herbs, tools, mulch, potting soil and more.

The plants grown at Papillon are acclimated to our sometimes difficult climate since they are grown here. Our native Missouri plants are grown from seed collected on Missouri so they are genetically able to handle our heavy clay soils and periods of lots of rain or drought.
